On a sun drenched January afternoon, St Audries Park welcomed Sarah, Simon and their family and friends to a wedding that can only be described as magical.
The day started dry and warm after a week of heavy snow and ice. Sarah started her day with Chef’s freshly cooked croissants and preserves served in Holly Cottage and our beautiful Bridal dressing room was the location for the girls to spend the morning getting ready for the special day ahead. With hair and make up complete they made their way to the ceremony.
The Orangery was the setting for Sarah and Simon’s ceremony – an amazing setting with lots of natural light which is a photographer’s dream.
Sarah and Simon walked through the arch of swords – a tradition that is meant to ensure the couple’s safe transition into their new life together. Welcome drinks and canapes were then enjoyed in front of the roaring open fire in the Great Hall.
Team St Audries would like to wish Sarah and Simon every happiness today and always. We hope to see you back at St Audries Park either at our Winter Ball or at one of our other Membership Events.
