Here at Country House Weddings, we realise how important it is for our couples to be able to return to our wonderful venues time and time again, maybe to celebrate a special occasion or just visit us and enjoy an afternoon tea. All of our couples agree that every venue offers the warmest of welcomes, delicious food and hospitality second to none.
We are getting a fantastic response from Bride and Groom’s- past and present- returning to St Audries Park to celebrate with us and enjoy a delicious meal with family and friends.
Last Sunday we hosted our first ever Mothering Sunday lunch and it was lovely to see so many couples return with their newborn babies and children. Chef created a delicious menu with the most popular starter being chicken liver parfait with red onion and grape chutney. Top of the list for the main course was pan fried free range chicken breast with leek and bacon and once again the most popular dessert was our famous chocolate fudge brownie.
The weather- although not bright sunshine- did not deter our guests from enjoying the house and grounds and wandering into the Orangery to savour the lovely atmosphere.
The children were determined to call by and say hello to the deer- they even managed to catch a glimpse of Dave, our majestic stag.
As dusk fell we said farewell to our guests but we look forward to our next events on 21st May, 26th June and 23rd July. Details of our Winter Ball will also be announced very soon.
