Here at St Audries Park having Trusted Suppliers that support our couples in planning their Wedding Day is very important to us and we are very lucky to work with Ben Simmonds Photography

Some of our couples are introduced to our Trusted Suppliers at our Open Days as well as the Wedding Book that couples receive when they book their special day with us.

‘I started my career in Wedding Photography in the small town of Curry Rivel (nr Tauton) covering a Church Wedding and that was back in 2007. Since then I have attended over 500 Weddings capturing every detail of the couple’s day. Each wedding varies but coverage usually starts with morning preparation and ends with the first dance!’

‘It was in November 2007 that I shot my first Wedding at St Audries Park and was blown away by the venue and have loved covering Weddings there ever since. I feel so lucky to be able to work at such a great venue for so many amazing weddings.’

‘I love to capture images of my couples as well as night time flash specialities but if I am really truthful I really enjoy catching natural images of people as well as events that happen during the wedding day!’

Ben arrives nice and early on the day of a wedding and his first task is to try and find our Personal Wedding Manager who is responsible for running the wedding! They will meet and discuss the running order of the day and confirm timings etc..

From here Ben will start capturing the day unfolding from the Banqueting Hall being set up, meeting the florist and photographing the flowers, visiting the Orangery and then onto the Bride and Groom getting ready. Next follows the Ceremony, Welcome Drinks and Canapes, Greeting Line, Wedding Breakfast, Speeches, Cutting the Cake, First Dance and even some Evening shots. After all this, it’s time for Ben to relax!!
