Peace and tranquility are words often associated with the St Audries Park estate. As you meander up and down the rolling Quantock Hills, you round a bend and arrive, rather unsuspectingly, at the estate entrance. You are greeted by a breathtaking view out over the Bristol Channel, with your very own country house front and centre below you. Slowly amble down the driveway and take in the tranquility of the 100-acre deer park and the estate cottages dotted around the grounds, until, at last, you arrive at your home for the day.
With its huge roaring fire, wood-panelled walls and minstrels’ gallery, the Great Hall offers Harry Potter-style charm, while the Banqueting Hall is fit for royalty, thanks to its large windows that let light flood in and overlook the grazing deer. The centrepiece to this charming venue, however, has to be the Orangery. Filled with natural light all year round, its delicate and magical feel is perfect for that special moment of 'I do'. Other sumptuous reception rooms unfold throughout, allowing your wedding party the ultimate in comfort. There is even accommodation on site for over 100 guests, with a popular option here being to stay not just one night, but two.
The indescribable feeling you get when you first descend the drive at St Audries Park is a tribute to the dedicated efforts of a busy team, who ensure the house and grounds are absolutely perfect every time they open the doors.
