We viewed St. Audries with Sally, who was part of the reason we booked. Sally was lovely and answered all of our questions really quickly. As a LGBTQ+ couple, some places we visited didn't make us feel comfortable and made some comments which left us uncomfortable - there was none of this at all with Sally.
Being an LGBTQ+ couple, we have had negative experiences before, but there was none of this. This may seem like an expected thing, but we can assure you that it isn't. Rebecca was our wedding co-ordinator, and she was super helpful and thorough with making sure that she had everything handled in preparation for the day. If we could rate this higher than excellent for service on our wedding day, we would.
The staff were all AMAZING. From acting like secret agents getting one bride around the house with her dress so nobody would see, to tying disco balls from the windows for our wedding breakfast. Nothing seemed like too much. The whole house was immaculate from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. You almost wouldn't think there was a party of 80 people there; it looked stunning throughout the whole day.
The next morning, we couldn't believe how early the staff were up and (quietly) cleaning the grounds and keeping it looking beautiful. The bedrooms were gorgeous, with multiple guests telling us how they couldn't believe how comfy the beds were! The bridal suite was just incredible, we wished we could have had it another night! Rebecca was incredible; we couldn't praise her any higher.
Rebecca constantly reminded us that it was our day and to run things how we wanted. She kept everything running like clockwork and kept checking in with us. Rebecca is amazing at her job, and we felt very lucky that she was our wedding manager. The wedding breakfast was amazing, and we (as well as our guests) couldn't believe how amazing the portion sizes were! So good. John- he was just amazing, our guests absolutely loved him and were very excited to see him at breakfast the next day. Rebecca of course was just amazing.
